Terms of use

Last updated 18 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Typort (home.typort.com), run by Human Compute LLC, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. By using the site you agree to them. Questions: adam@humancompute.com.

What Typort is

Typort on the web is a way to reach your own Typort account from a browser: your recordings, your meeting transcripts and your vault. It shows you what the Typort app saved for you.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
  • One person per account. Keep access to your email secure, since it is how you sign in.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Your content

Everything you record stays yours. If you record other people, in a meeting or on screen, you are responsible for having the consent the law where you are requires. Anyone with a recording's share link can watch it, so share links with care.

Not allowed

  • Harassment, discrimination, or misuse of another person's contact details.
  • Using someone else's account, or trying to reach data that is not yours.
  • Fake accounts, spam, scraping, or attempts to break or overload the site.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Human Compute LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. If we change them in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. Your privacy is covered by our privacy policy.
