Typort (home.typort.com) is run by Human Compute LLC, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. This page says what we collect, why, and who sees it. If anything here is unclear, email adam@humancompute.com.

What we collect

• Your sign-in details. The email address you type. The 6-digit code is checked with Typort, and we never see or store a password.
• The key to your Typort vault. Signing in connects this site to yourTyport account. We keep that connection encrypted on our server. It is never sent to your browser.
• The list of recordings you add.Only each recording's id. Your recordings, meeting transcripts and vault stay in Typort's own storage: this site fetches them when you open a page and keeps no copy.
• Basic technical records. The IP address and time of sign-ins and security-relevant actions, kept in an audit log to protect accounts.

What we do not do

• No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts on this site.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
• We do not use tracking cookies. Staying signed in uses a token kept in your own browser's storage, which is removed when you sign out.

Who sees what

• Nobody else. What you see here is your own account. A recording is visible to other people only through its share link, which you choose to give out.
• Companies that run parts of the service for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and sending email), Mailgun (a backup route for email). They process data on our instructions and for that purpose only.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal details and the stored connection to your Typort vault. We keep the minimum records we are legally required to keep and the security audit log.

Your choices

You can see and change your details on your account page. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by emailing adam@humancompute.com. We answer within 30 days.

Children

Typort is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and they may not open an account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date above before the change takes effect.
